I'm staring to get a good hang of unity and better understanding from the last few week was hell. Now i go back to unity and try take things from each week and add a few thing into my game. its been a crazy time on unity but I'm almost done for this semester. Games Testing

Image
from reading and watching the video for this week task I learned that game testing is so important for making a game and it make the game come together nicely so that the player can enjoy playing it in the process. Also playtesting is very crucial when developing any type of game. The video really help i like how the guy say that it doesn't matter how good the idea or the design is you still need to play test the game so many time. Game jams was one thing that I found very interesting its a constant cycle of prototyping and playtesting . And I gain more knowledge that you need someone to play your game so they can provide valuable feedback the best candidate depending on the game are kids because they have a better reaction to a game if its good or not. I cant wait to use all these new information to make my game. https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fstarloopstudios.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2020%2F11%2FGame-QA-Testing-main-banner.png&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Fs

Games Stories

Image
for this week i read 2 article and watch the video about game stories. in the frist in one its all about gaming devloper wanting to sell there wares to more people and it telling us that game are not movies. i didnt know that there are so much more in a game stories like classical move in the game it save lots of time when making a game there are hero, gap, rick and etc in a game. the gap open up bettewn the hero and an normal life. then the hero has risk in the game to get pass diffrent obstacle that keep pushing the player back from completing the game. the second article is about game being fun and its not the prime intention of the game. i think it should be fun and very exciting for the gamer in the end of the day. In the video is all about a game called the walking dead it remember your decision making in the game and the character can react on the way you treat them. they really want you to question yourself in the game plus the plotting in the game never change that much. i can

Unity Tutorial 09

for this week unity was a bit stressful but also fun at the same time i learned so much on this lesson to make a game over. i had to use a game state so that the player gets a feedback when they are in the game and added a restart button and a game over text. The button was really useful so when you click on something and it would do it automatically. i had problem with script for the scene managment it would not load or reload the scene until i asked one of my peers for help then everything started working. then i added a boolean to control the game when it running  so it will give a whole bunch of different thing into the game so that the enemies spawn. now i hope i can use these tips for my game so it will look like a decent game in the end.                                                                                                                                                        unity logo
